Bull riding is a rodeo sport in which an athlete gets on the back of a large bull, which is then released into an arena and immediately begins to buck in order to attempt to throw the rider off its back. Bull riders try to remain on the bull for as long as possible, and must remain on its back for at least eight seconds to avoid disqualification.
